The third-phase project 4# 160,000 m3 LNG storage tank construction of Guanghui Energy's Qidong LNG terminal project successfully completed to pre-cooling on June 6, 2020, and the LNG "Cronis" (MARANGASCORONIS) ship realized the docking and liquid inlet task on June 8 and smoothly completed the first unloading task on June 10.

So far, the 4#160,000 m3 LNG storage tank has enjoyed a smooth operation, which marks that the third phase project 4#160,000 m3 LNG storage tank has officially entered the trial operation stage after the first and second phases of the Qidong LNG receiving station project have been put into operation.

The Qidong LNG receiving station project relies on the unique geographical advantage of the Nantong port area in Jiangsu Province. It is a comprehensive energy logistics base in an integration of storage, distribution, and transshipment mainly at the core of liquefied natural gas products. The project is planned as a third-phase construction. As the third phase 4# 160,000 m3 LNG storage tanks is put into operation, its overall LNG unloading capacity and turnover will be dramatically improved, whose has an LNG storage capacity of 420,000 m3and an LNG turnover of 3 million tons per year.

As the integrated operation system of LNG receiving station storage, unloading and terminal market supply are established and improved, the company can have the access to cost-effective LNG resources from its overseas routes, further optimize the supply of natural gas in the East China region, and gradually stabilize the the terminal market supply in Jiangsu, the local city emergency deployment, and the demands of industrial gas consumption.
