CUEL Limited has been awarded a contract by TechnipFMC for the fabrication of modules for the recently announced ExxonMobil crude expansion project in Beaumont, Texas, USA.

  TechnipFMC was awarded the detailed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by ExxonMobil for the Beaumont refinery expansion project, covering the addition of new units to be integrated into the existing facilities at the refinery. The expansion will optimize the facility by giving ExxonMobil the flexibility to run lighter crudes. The CUEL awarded scope is the module fabrication of Pre-assembled Piperack (PAR) and Pre-assembled Unit (PAU) modules. The fabrication works are planned to start at CUEL’s Laem Chabang fabrication yard in Chonburi province, Thailand later in 2019. The contract was signed by TechnipFMC management and CUEL management. Axens Awarded Licences For The Saudi Aramco Jazan Refinery & Terminal Project

  SEPTEMBER 23 - 2011 Axens' technologies have been selected by Saudi Aramco for its Jazan Refinery & Terminal Project. The refinery, scheduled to be commissioned in December 2016, will have a capacity of 400,000 BPSD. The units under Axens design are: Naphtha hydrotreating for feedstock purification aromizing ™ – CCR Reforming for aromatics production C5/C6 isomerization unit to provide a high octane component for the gasoline pool ParamaX® complex enabling to produce high purity paraxylene and benzene. These units are designed and integrated to maximize the gasoline production and the aromatics throughput for petrochemical use. The Gas Oil desulfurization hydrotreater (Prime-D™) is also under Axens design. This Prime-D unit – one of the world's largest – will produce ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) with less than 10 ppm of sulfur. The refinery will deliver gasoline and diesel that meet Euro V specifications.

Saudi Aramco selects ISOCRACKING Technology from Chevron Lummus Global for Jazan Refinery Project

  2011 Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) signed a hydrocracking unit license agreement with Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) for applying ISOCRACKING technology to the Jazan Refinery Project that is currently in the front-end engineering design (FEED) phase. The CLG licensed hydrocracker will be utilized to convert 106,000 barrel per day of vacuum gas oil — from the new 400,000 barrel per day Jazan refinery — into high quality diesel fuel, meeting EURO – V quality requirements. Petrofac Consortium Appointed by KLPE LLP (KLPE) for Integrated Petrochemical Project in Kazakhstan

LyondellBasell Will Build High Density Polyethylene Plant at La Porte, Texas, Complex

 September 2016 LyondellBasell (NYSE: LYB), one of the world's largest plastics, chemical and refining companies, has selected its La Porte, Texas, manufacturing complex as the site for a new High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Plant. The plant will be the first commercial plant to employ LyondellBasell's new proprietary Hyperzone PE technology and will have an annual capacity of 1.1 billion pounds (500,000 metric tons). The project is expected to create up to 1,000 jobs at the peak of construction and as many as 75 full time positions.
