CNOOC Limited Announces BD Gas Field in Indonesia Commences Production

CNOOC Limited (the “Company”, SEHK: 00883, NYSE: CEO, TSX: CNU) announced today the BD gas field in Indonesia has already commenced production.

The BD gas field is located in Madura Strait at a water depth of approximately 55 meters. Main production facilities included one unmanned wellhead platform, one FPSO and four production wells. Currently, the gas field has 2 wells in production and its gas and condensate sales production is approximately 7,200 barrels oil equivalent per day. The gas field is expected to reach its Overall Development Program designed peak production of approximately 25,500 BOE per day in 2018.

Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited (HCML) is the operator of the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for the BD gas field. Husky and CNOOC Limited each hold a 40 percent interest in HCML, while the remaining 20 percent interest is held by Samudra Energy.

Axens Awarded Licences For The Saudi Aramco Jazan Refinery & Terminal Project

  SEPTEMBER 23 - 2011 Axens' technologies have been selected by Saudi Aramco for its Jazan Refinery & Terminal Project. The refinery, scheduled to be commissioned in December 2016, will have a capacity of 400,000 BPSD. The units under Axens design are: Naphtha hydrotreating for feedstock purification aromizing ™ – CCR Reforming for aromatics production C5/C6 isomerization unit to provide a high octane component for the gasoline pool ParamaX® complex enabling to produce high purity paraxylene and benzene. These units are designed and integrated to maximize the gasoline production and the aromatics throughput for petrochemical use. The Gas Oil desulfurization hydrotreater (Prime-D™) is also under Axens design. This Prime-D unit – one of the world's largest – will produce ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) with less than 10 ppm of sulfur. The refinery will deliver gasoline and diesel that meet Euro V specifications.

Saipem: new contract awarded by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for the Shah Gas plant in the United Arab Emirates

June 15, 2021 Saipem has received a Letter of Award from ADNOC Sour Gas, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), for a new contract related to the Optimum Shah Gas Expansion (OSGE) & Gas Gathering project in the United Arab Emirates. The contract covers the expansion and upgrade of the existing Shah gas plant . The overall value of the contract is around 510 million USD. The EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contract includes the engineering, supply of materials, construction and commissioning of additional components, designed to increase the gas treatment daily capacity of the Shah Gas plant by 13%, from the current production capacity of 1.28 to 1.45 billion standard cubic feet per day, representing a cumulative increase to 145% of the original design capacity of the plant.
