CNOOC Limited announced the commencement of production of the Hangingstone Project

CNOOC Limited (the "Company", SEHK: 8, NYSE: CEO, TSX: CNU) today announced that the Hangingstone Project in Canada has commenced production.

Located in Alberta, Canada, the project consists of a steam generator, well site equipment, 32 well pairs, and water treatment and asphalt pipelines. The project is expected to reach peak production of 2018,2 barrels of bitumen per day in <>.

The Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nexen Energy ULC, has a 25% interest in the Hangingstone Project, and Japan Canada Oil Sands Limited (JACOS) has a 75% interest in the Project and acts as the operator.

Near shore Liquefaction barge + LNG storage awarded to Dixstone!

27 September 2024 Dixstone has been awarded the Construction, Procurement and Integration of their new LNG Project in Cap Lopez, GABON This project is a nearshore type LNG facilities that will produce 0,7 MTPA of LNG and 25,000 tons of LPG per year (phase 1) with a storage capacity of 137,000m3 in an ex gas tanker converted to FSO. Dixstone will perform the construction of the liquefaction barge in Dubai where a new office has been set of based on its extensive experience in international FSO/FPSO conversions in the last 20 years and 15+ MOPU/MODU/MOCU/MOLQU/MOPoDU conversions and upgrades performed in the last years for various countries in Africa, UK, Brazil and Caribbean area. Petrobras on P-80 construction contract

August 15, 2022 Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras informs that, as a result of the progress of the development project for the Búzios field , in the Santos Basin pre-salt area, it signed today a contract with Keppel Shipyard Limited for the construction of platform P-80 , the ninth unit to be installed in the field.  This unit will be one of the largest to operate in Brazil and one of the largest in the global oil and gas industry, with capacity to produce up to 225 thousand barrels of oil per day, process up to 12 million m3/day of gas, and store more than 1.6 million barrels.  The project foresees the interconnection of 14 wells, 7 of which are oil producers and 7 injectors. The platform will be self-owned, of the FPSO type (floating unit that produces, stores, and transfers oil), with a minimum local content index of 25%. Production is scheduled to start in 2026.
