Hyundai and Saudi Aramco sign contract for ‘Uthmaniyah ethane recovery

Hyundai and Saudi Aramco have inked contracts for the company’s ‘Uthmaniyah Ethane Deep Recovery Project.

Tofiq H. Al Gabsani, Saudi Aramco’s acting executive director of Project Management, presided over a signing ceremony with Hyundai director and project director Jae Ho Junin and Chul Ho Ryu, general manager of the company’s al-Khobar branch office, at Saudi Aramco’s Dhahran headquarters.

The project will involve the recovery of ethane, propane and natural gas liquids from sales gas at ‘Uthmaniyah.

Al Gabsani praised the quality of Hyundai’s previous work with Saudi Aramco and said the two parties will maintain a high level of communication for the duration of the project.
